RIP Cali Carranza

Some sad news, local Pharr musician Cali Carranza passed away on Tuesday night. Amy Nichol Smith has the details over at The Monitor. My condolences to all his family, friends and his musical peers.

    I thought about you when reading about his death on The Monitor. He's from Pharr right?

    Yes, I think he lived within walking distance from me. I wish I would have gone out of my way to meet him. I regret not doing so.
